I went by the Firestone off Arapahoe in Englewood and they told me they don't align BMWs.

He said to do BMWs, a shop needs to have weights, etc.

Did I go to the wrong one?

I need an alignment bad now since I curbed the drivers side rear wheel yesterday. Now the car pulls to the right slightly and the steering wheel angles about 10 degrees counter clockwise for me to go straight. Shit.

I've got an appt to get the car serviced at Schomp Tuesday morning and they told me it's $149 to have them align it.

Thanks again, I called and that guy wasn't there but the guy that answered said they didn't do BMWs.

I ended up going to Axis Automotive & Machine at 1683 W. Sheri Lane, Littleton, CO 80120.

They did a good job for me, even had me sit in the car to "get it right".

The owner noticed the wheel that I curbed pretty bad and fixed it right on the spot... ground it down smooth, taped it off and painted it. Pretty cool. He said he just happened to have the same wheels and had to do it to one of his cars after his wife curbed it.

The car drives good now. Luckily I hadn't bent anything, just threw the back right wheel out of alignment pretty bad.

John the owner does a bunch a off allignments for many of the local BMW Indy Mechanics. He and only 1 other tech operate the machine - which they own.

It makes a difference when there are 20-50 hands opperating an allignment machine, dropping heads etc. Techs don't care about equipment that they do not own.

I'd only trust them to allign a OEM suspension BMW. Last time it ran 85 bucks ~45 mins, job done. Wheel dead straight.

Just had an alignment done by Aaron at the Firestone at Arapahoe & Parker. No issues with car being a BMW.

Aaron is who does all of my work there (he also owns a Jag S-type R)....they won't even let anyone else touch the low profile tires at that shop. He does a really great job.
