Are there any insiders on here? ie. people who work for a BMW dealership?

It's been said somewhere that the E92 will be previewed at the Paris show in September. Does that mean that it will go on sale in September (UK) or that it will just be officially announced? I would have thought that for the car to be in showrooms by September, which is the start of the new model year, the car will have had to be officially anounced a few months earlier. And so if that is the case, then we should start hearing official details in May.. right?

So I went into a dealership in Dallas to get to get my car fixed walked over to the sales dept and asked about the 335i E92...the sales guy said,.."I dont even know if they are going to bring it to the states" I said Im pretty sure they are he called their head guy and then said, "Theres not even been a BMW announcement that said they will bring it here." My dealer in Chicago said it was coming and that was what I was puting my money down for.

Does anyone know for sure the 335i is coming to the states? Are there are future US Model sheets or anything?

This is soo ridiculous....I have extended the lease on my benz 6 months and now it ends in September..Is this car gonna be ready for then!!!Im so sick of waiting for the coupe. Even just some official pictures. BMW is losing sales every day to the new IS and the the G35. They better release the new coupe soon cause otherwise you guys might see me hanging around the Lexus boards. Also, just FYI...Spoke to my friend who has a lexus last night, when your car has a problem Lexus picks it from your home and replaces it with the same exact car, and after your car has been fixed, the drop off your car and pick up the rental. Thats what i call service. Nothing can replace the BMW driving experience though, but I do feel that it is somewhat ridiculous that we will have official info about the coupe almost 2 years after the sedan. It is ridiculous because the Sedan is up for a refresh in a year lol..

Its been known since last year that the Coupe would only be out mid year 2006.
Most were just hoping for early pics

Where do you get that the Sedan is 2 years old ?
It only came publically available in March 2005, making it 1 year old and it will be 1 year and 3 months when the coupe arrives
