Is there room for a pace car?
Seems the other half is working that day so I can sneak out without applying for (or using up) a pass. I'll happily put the estate on a rolling road if you need more runners but I'm not sure how interesting the results would be and havent spotted any other 330s to compare with. Perhaps I should bring the bike instead for a laugh, it probably produces less power than a couple of 335 cylinders but who needs big numbers when you only weigh 150ish kilos. Nah scratch that, its cold. Anyway, I'll pop along. |

I might well attend in my 320i E93 if the engine power is enough to get me vertically up the country.
I could probably measure my horsepower with a spinning wheel !! |

I'll have the same problem, Crimson. We could put one wheel each on at the same time to get a respectable figure Interested in meeting up en route and going up together?

have you seen the state of the roads....
Dirty is Fine, in fact I always prefer em dirty :P JUST sign up lads, We need 10 to open the gates, 15 to make it about the 40 odd quid mark and 20 Plus to really get it cheap. Now for me and Tony we'd rather have 10 to 15 serious people sign up who come and dyno. That way it's not a NIGHTmare on the the day. More is GREAT but not needed. But if like 6 people turn up it WILL cost us money so please be serious and get them names down on the calendar entry, just click the piccy in my signature and type some thing in the the box on the calendar. SJ (not worried.. much) |

Right then all, firstly thank you to everyone who has expressed interest and committed to coming along to the Dyno Day. Both James & I are grateful for the excellent response and we can promise you it will be a fun day out. The plan is as follows: We are aiming to start at 9:30am - a bit early I know but it seems we have quite a few cars and I don't want to run the risk of people not making it onto the rollers. James & I will be there from about 9am and it really would be great if most of you can aim to get there for the start. Obviously, if you have a long way to travel, let me know that you might be arriving a bit late, but not too late otherwise you might miss your chance! The cost will be around the £42 mark per car, although that might come down depending on how many cars we get. My aim is to get all the cars finished by 1pm, so we can then drive off somewhere to get some food, have a drink or two, then if people like go for a drive in the afternoon. James & I have spent a fair bit of time and money setting up this Dyno Day, and for those who have said they are coming, please please please try and avoid pulling out, as we really don't want to end up massively out of pocket for trying to setup a fun day out for our fellow forum members. I will be PM-ing each of you who have expressed interest with the same details posted here. Look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks time! If you have any questions, PM me. E92Fan, It will be good to see a variety of other E9X cars.
I hope Serjames wont be too upset about another E93, mines not the M version so it will be good to compare them. I probably will come back with a shopping list of parts i would like for xmas |
