Is there an ideal alignment setting?
Some people seem to prefer the M3 settings, how does this wear on your tires? even, inner vs outer edge wear faster, etc
If you just keep your alignment in spec, does that make your tires wear evenly? I doubt it. My goal is to have my tires wear nice and even in my spirited non-track daily driver (2008, E90, 335) lets take a poll of your alignment settings and your wear pattern and also state whether you track or not and of course the mods you may have |

This is complicated by different suspension set-ups. Those of us with M3 suspension parts are constrained in some of the adjustments, camber will be close to -1. Some folks have camber adjusters, most do not.

on my adjustable (rwd) car, I like -1.0 up front and -1.5 camber in the rear. The BMW doesn't offer that much adjustability, so we'll see where I end up with there...
Toe rather depends on your prefference for stability vs agility

Slight toe in will provide stablity and ease of driving while zero toe or toe out will help the car settle into turns a little better while allowing the driver to rotate the rear end better.
