Diesel Tuining in Perth? 330D

Heya!

New owner of a 2010 330D and curious if anyone has any experience with diesel tuning options in Perth? 180kw N57 version - excellent condition, 110k mileage.

Prefer a remap over a piggy-back and I am unsure of reputable BMW diesel tuning options locally. Not really considering DPF or EGR delete at this stage.
Have the car booked in for a due service at BMTechniks, but diesel tuning does not really appear to be their thing.

Hi sharaleo, welcome to the forum.

As you have probably already realised, there are not many diesel tuners in Perth and none that have BMW experience.

Without a DPF delete then you should expect around 20% torque increase and can safely run upto 40% increase.

If you don't want to spend so much money tuning on the dyno then there are OTS maps from reputable European companies like Heinz and BC.

Pro Diesel Tune, Hyperdrive and other local tuners can help you out getting the map off and a new one uploaded.

Mostly, like me, you won't need to visit these forums as the N57 is a super reliable and economical beast.

Thanks for the reply. Was figuring I'd be looking at an OTS via remote or OBD flash.
