This might be a newbie question, but I'm having trouble re-installing this interior piece of plastic back on the side of the passenger foot well.

Reason being is that back on the plastic plate which slides into the 4 attachments shown below, 2 clips are designed to lock into place by sliding the plate to the left side and the 2 other clips are designed to lock into place by sliding the plate to the right side.



Anyone have experience with this?

Mate the white things are the clips that got left behind when you removed your trim piece, pluck them out and put them on the piece

pull those four clips out, slide them in to the door sill, then line the clips to the holes, and pop them back in

^ that was the easiest way for me to do it.

Use a fork that you don't mind bending and use that as leverage to get the clips out.
