Lux 5.0 or Mtec V2 for pre LCI?

Hi, anyone have comments between the 2 kits?
They both seem to have good reviews, just wondering if it's worth the $50 difference.

MTEC V2's are completely plug and play, its also 100% error free

The exact same 2 I have been debating on. Think I might do the MTECH V2's tho. They seem to have the same light output, but cost $50 less. Also, if you look at the build of the light itself, the MTECH's look like a higher quality product. Something about the physical look of the LUX 5 looks cheap, not saying the light output looks cheap, just the build of the light itself. Plus, looks like you can't even get the LUX 5 till sometime in October, don't know if I want to wait that long.

I think that the Lux are great! only problem is they are on backorder for another month so you would have to wait.

honestly, no. but lux is WIN.

and it is THAT much better. quality parts from a quality person. cant get better than that. i don't care if lux was 50 bucks more either.

Just curious is all. Cause I'm obv in the same boat as the other guy, can't decide on which but both look the same/great in all the pics I've seen

I feel for some reason the MTECH V2's will blend better on an unmodded E90 like mine, rather than the LUX 5, don't know why

only place. i can give you pics of lux on my car if you prefer...

Sure, a few people sent me there pics already, I like them both, but a few more pics def wouldn't hurt. PM me if you'd like. Night pics I think I'd prefer, I saw a bunch a day pics and they look the same, so night I suppose would be my determinate

I had the same question a couple of weeks ago. I chose to go with the Mtec v2's from e92-lighting. The install was very easy and no errors, and their pretty bright. Pure white color no hint of blue.

I've seen both in person, side-by-side. It's close but the Lux 5.0 is slightly brighter.

Brighter is not always better. Can start to get blurry if too bright. Personally I would not spend the extra $50.00 for something so slight.
