17x9 ET30 w/ 255/40-17 tires on E90 LCI
Well boys and girls, I'm finally buying new wheels. Apex ARC-8 due to this group buy that you should totally join: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1458637
Anyone know how these will fit up? I'm mainly concerned about rubbing the strut. Apex tells me with this tire width I may need some extra negative camber. Anyone running this setup or similar? |

I'm running these on a 2009 328i xdrive sedan at stock ride height. No rubbing here, but front strut clearance is close. Tires are Cooper Zeon RS3-G1. I am imagine that tire selection could be the difference in whether or not you rub.

I suppose running a baby spacer(like 3-5mm) would take care of it, right?

Works perfectly on my E90 LCI 335d. I think the Pre-LCI have a different track width, so I can't say for sure it'll work for you though.

In the case of strut/tire clearance, it's spacers or nothing. |

That said, I've been running on Eibach springs and the previously mentioned wheel and tire combo with M3 control arms all around for the last 4000 miles and the only time my tires rub is on the fender during extremely hard cornering. |
