N55 owners, what are your average yearly/monthly costs of maintenance?

I'm probably buying an N55 in the next few years and I'd just like to see what the average maintenance cost of ownership is for different people here so I can get a head start on a budget. I'm in the southern USA as well as I know that that helps, but I'd like numbers from anyone willing to share.

Specifically interested in General Maintenance (Oil changes, part repairs/ replacements)

Gas and Insurance costs appreciated but not necessary.

Bought mine at 47k miles. Drive 15k miles a year. Spent about $600 every 6 months on maintenance items, diy all work. After replacing all common issue items I haven't had to replace anything in 25k miles. Currently at 135k.

0 to 100k miles, not much than usual maintenance.

then , those common failure : coil packs (20$ each), water pump (400$+diy), thermostat (180$+diy), charge pipe (diy repair), breather hose (diy repair).

Note on water pump issue, the thermostat and diverter valve should be done at the same time since they are in the same spot. Job is around 1500$ (labour and parts). Do it before it fail. Ive ordored mine before getting the car in my driveway since it was @ 60k miles.

oil is 6.x L iirc. So you need 2 jugs. Filters are cheap, had bad experience with mann filter in my audi and bmws, so for now on I use mahle.
I put liquimoly diesel grade 38$/5L, filter is about 10$. Oil change time is low, around 1 h if you took your time.

Its a common engine, reliable enough, so nothing hard to find, lot of diy and parts available.

I've owned my 2011 N55 for just over 1.5 years, bought it at 79k miles and it now has 89k miles.

I've put 2 Rein coolant expansion tanks on it (but thanks to FCP, only paid for the initial one), around $125. I just replaced the water pump and thermostat to the tune of $700 (parts and labor).

So far, I'm in it for less than $1,000 in my year or so of ownership. I don't anticipate it costing me $1,000 every year but you never know.

How much you spend is going to depend on how well you want to maintain it. A lot of people preemptively replace the water pump and thermostat ($500 DIY, $1,000+ for a dealer). Most also recommend walnut blasting ($250-$300) at least every 50k miles. You'll also want to replace the plugs and coils ($200) every 60k miles or so.

As far as fuel, I average 18-20mpg but my driving is exclusively city, rarely hit an interstate for more than 10 miles.

For insurance, I drove a Ford Focus (one model year newer) before my 335. The 335 is running me about $200 more a year, or right around $700/year. I'll add that I'm over 30 with a clean driving record.

Purchased in 2014 @ 27k miles, now at 108k miles. In about 5 years of ownership I've spent about $7.5k on maintenance and parts. A lot of that is tires, almost $3.5k because I'm RWD and go through the rears pretty quickly. I do about 75% of my own maintenance. Take it to a indy shop for the other 25%. I'm proactive with maintenance.

I excluded some non-necessary parts from that like 2nd wheel set for winter, tune, short shifter, tint, upgraded pipes etc... with those included I'm in for $10k over 5 years.

Insurance is not included.

depends also on what op 's considering like ''normal'' maintenance.

For most people, normal maintenance means ''repairing when its broken''.

For me, @ 60k miles, means ALL fluid change (coolant, brake, transmission, transfer case on xi, diff (s), power steering), spark plugs, all filters, etc.
Even on a DIY it still expensive.
