+1

The 1 series curves and shape closer matches the 3 series e9x

The M4 has too many straight horizontal edges, it's too sharp for the rest of the car

are you pre LCI or LCI? I'm getting one shipped from USA. It's 460 USD for shipping and about $1000 AUD for the bar though. I could try and ask for combined shipping for two if you're in Sydney

Its a costly exercise, Peter at bodyform would be the go to guy for this stuff.

I like the pics of the bar on the pre LCI as it doesn't have those cheesy looking foglights!

Looking at the pic though I dont think it has been grafted as when you look at the headlight washer covers they aren't E92 items?
I honestly can't tell the difference of LCI and pre LCI. Never bothered looking close enough. So that grey one is definitely a pre LCI then? I have hope! K0ncept, where did you find that pic from!?

LCI and pre-LCI have differences in the headlights.

Pre-LCI is a "smooth" line where the LCI has a little bump in the bottom outter edge.

Hopefully this pic helps.

Jeez disregard my post, the grey car is indeed an LCI car! (I seen the pre LCI rims - my excuse I was on my phone and couldnt distinguish the headlights )

Like I said before, some people hate it, some people love it. Like I hate M3 Bumpers. They seriously look really plain.

Oh wells, good luck to whoever will be the first person to fit this. Looks like it ain't gonna be my pre LCI car. Will get the rear though

I am thinking about doing a pre LCI to LCI conversion whilst the car is still waiting to be assessed by the insurance company. I want to buy a new bonnet anyway and get it sprayed whilst everything is getting one. Just the ridiculous cost of headlights is the only concern, but I think my panel beater said the kangaroo cracked the passenger side so it needs to be replaced anyways. My fenders need to be replaced along with the front bar. Does anyone know what's involved with a pre LCI to LCI conversion? Is it possible to code LCI headlights to LCI? I know I'd have to buy new grilles which would be relatively cheap for everything else that is getting replaced.

Are LCI and pre LCI front fenders the same? Are the bonnet the same? I only know 100% that the grille, bumper and headlights are different. What about everything else? Also, where's the cheapest place to get headlight replacements? Found nothing on fleabay.

I think you may need the new light module FRM3 (or something like that) for the head lights to work correctly.

Fenders I'm pretty sure are different also.

I'm guessing the LCI may also have a unique aux lighting system ala HID ballast etc?

I dont know of anyone who has done a LCI upgrade TBH although it did cross my mind when I 1st bought the car to get the cool AE look with both AE fully illuminated

LCI Angel eyes are the bomb, this sounds like a costly endeavor. Do it Cashy!
