if you give me the last 7 characters of your BMW VIN i can look it up for you.
I went for the non AHL-LCI Lights since the inner lens looks much better black but it needs som re-pinning and wiring. Upgrade the other way around will need only re-pin. Best way is if you stick to what you already got. Got AHL go for LCI AHL. Got Xenon, go for Xenon. |

with some used FRM3 module (E89, E9X AHL) this pin move do not help with side markers
only solution is to wire them to front turn indicators and disable bulb check i had to downgrade to FRM2 because did not want to lose blub check |

Yes im swedish but please keep it in english so everybody can understand.
I haven´t fixed it yet but the problem sure is that the pinning are different and it also needs some new wiring by the FRM to the lights. The adaptive feature is is a digital transmitted signal that goes to the adaptive modules on the headlight and the non-adaptive is analog and is directly connected to the stepper motors if i understand correctly. |

I went for the pin change but still nothing. Will try to hard wire them to the front indicators instead. Someone know what pins for front indicators? Edit again° Found it, Left: 13 x14260 Right: 61 x14261 Hard wired to above and works like a charm! Now its time to fix the headlight leveling. Last edited by ChrizLoud; 01-05-2014 at 03:56 PM.. |

Hi
i have a 2007 335i sedan with bixenon with adaptive feature and planning on installing lci xenons without ahl but im still not clear if i need to rewire and coding. Makkan00 has been really helpful with my questions but decided to open it up to the community for clarity. It sounds like with my scenario i do need to repin and rewire or do i just need to recode to make the auto leveler work. Thanks. |

I used the Bmwhat app to increase the angel voltage. It does increase the brightness. However, I have OSS led in mine. Not sure how bright you can make the halogen bulbs without having heat concerns. I have frm2 and mine was plug and play. I didn't have to do anything with the pins.

I HAVE SEARCHED FOR DAYS AND I CANT FIND ANYONE WITH SIMILAR DETAILS AND PROBLEMS AS ME!
Was hoping someone could help me I have an E92 frm1. Had my xenons upgraded to lci xenons. Everything works fine when the engine is off. But when the engine is on the angel lights flicker constantly and the indicators flicker when pressed (beams work fine) I have already turned all cold and warm checks off. Even tried setting the angel lights to very bright etc... No luck i have both carly and ncs your help would be much appreciated |
