Setting up Weisslicht Angel Eye LED's

Is there a certain way to set up the Weisslicht Ultra-Bright Pure White Angel Eye LED's that is not stated in the installation video/manual? Because after watching/reading both, my angel eyes are not very bright at all, and I know they probably should be. Let me know if the bulbs need to tilted or twisted a certain way or not. Thanks

The bulbs are preadjusted for you out of the box but if they are not fully illuminating the ring, then make sure that they are completely seated in the headlight.

it wont click because of the rubber housing but you can feel it lock into place, remember each bulb turns opposite to each other. I was having this problem on the passenger side.

Yep you will see the housing fully inserted. There are different sized tabs that only line up in one direction so make sure you have those seated.

Looks pretty good to me! I might get them. No problems with errors or flickering?

Yeah, that's actually not bad at all given the conditions...you're lucky to have an E90 because all (most) aftermarket LED Halo's look much better and more uniform on the E90's than they do on E92's...I have the same set-up in my E92 and you literally cannot even see them during the daytime..Even under cloudy conditions they're nothing to write home about for some reason and I know for sure that I installed them properly. The fiber optic tubing that the LED light needs to travel through to make up the halo rings in the E92 allows for the light to get lost given its' tube length, shape, etc. so it doesn't look as good. I mean they look great at dusk and dawn..and obviously at night but otherwise, that's just the way they are during the day. Maybe someone else can chime in about their E92's with these Halo LED's not being as bright as Op's E90?

**Correction...Just realized that the OP DOES have an E92, so my follow-up would apply to you and I've shown that we're in the same boat in terms of brightness based on what I said. I guess thats just the way they are for us man. The person who posted the E90 example is the lucky one because they are much brighter in the the E90's**

All LEDs strobe at start up due to the bulb check system. LEDs use less power and the pulses the bulb check system sends to check the condition of the bulb Have enough power to light the LEDs. My license plate, angel eyes, and reverse lights strobe on start up.

LOL it's two small LEDs per side, what did you expect? I think they look 100% better than stock, and plus they look great at night.

The E90 looks good - I've been considering these since Lux went outside of the headlight housing. Does anyone know if you just install from the top on the 335d E90 like the E90 M3?

The Pre-LCI E90s are installed through the wheel well, what year is your E90?

That's disappointing. My license plate LEDs don't strobe. I wonder if having several LEDs causes the strobing to become more apparent. I added side markers LEDs and removed them due to strobing. If these angel eyes do indeed strobe, I don't want 'em

My Weisslichts did not strobe. Neither did my LPLs. 2007 model.

I imagine they don't strobe if they come on immediately (i.e. DRLs). But if you start the car with the lights off, it will send pulses through the lights to check and hence the strobing.
