2012 335is DCT Speedtech single turbo build

Hey guys,

I just finished installing my speedtech 6266 kit last weekend on my 2012 335is. I'll be posting a bunch of pictures below. Everything fit great, and I've put around 300 miles on it since installing and have not had any issues, other than some tune related things that are now worked out! Hardest part of the install was getting the turbo clocked right, and getting it to fit on the manifold being clocked in the right direction and still accessing the turbo to manifold bolts. But other than that, install was a breeze. Took me 40 hours total working on it from Friday-Monday.

Next up on the list is port injection and SSP clutch packs!

Here are the specs;

2012 BMW 335is e93 DCT n54 37k miles

Speed Tech bottom mount single turbo kit

Precision Turbo Engineering 6266 Gen 1, JB, S housing, 1.0 A/R

Tial MVR 44mm waste gate

Tial blow off valve

MHD Flasher

GFB GE-Force III Boost Controller

Mac Solenoid

Precision Raceworks upgraded relocated ignition system

NGK 97506 2 step colder spark plugs gapped to .022mm

Index 12 injectors

Precision Raceworks Stage 2 low pressure fuel pump

VRSF charge pipe

VRSF 7” intercooler

RB upgraded PCV valve

Custom oil catch can

I didn't know they sold the 335is in Australia, I thought they were North America only?

Fitment looks pretty good down there. Regarding the relocated ignition, is that to combat heat issues?

Don't know why you think I live in Aus, lol. I'm in Houston, TX.

Yeah, everything fits.. but it's a tight fit!

Yep, relocation is to get them away from heat

You guys... you seriously had no idea gravity in the southern hemisphere is opposite of northern? Everything pulls towards the equator. Duh.
