Best Route For Injector Coding
Hello, recently bought a set of index 12 injectors for 2009 e90 335i N54. In regards to coding them is there a method that stands out better than others? Was planning on buying k+dcan and setting up inpa and coding my self. But is there a tool or scanner that has the ability to code injectors available now ? Or is it easier to pay for a remote coder ? Just trying to figure out which method makes the most sense
Thanks ! |

Pro Tool seems like the easiest option. You will have to buy a license to use it though.

The WiFi adapter from Bimmergeeks correct? I've seen this but couldn't figure out how much cost would be involved and what to buy exactly. Also is there any issues with wireless connectivity ?

ista-D or inpa or winkfp or mikes easy BMW tools? Lol sorry I'm trying to figure out my best option and what I need exactly, there are so many different write ups on different software and different windows version setups. But Honestly was thinking the same thing, especially since I'm planning on keeping the car. Might as well add this tool to the collection as well

But yeah the only tools I've needed yet was ISTA-D for diagnostics and coding new parts and NCS Expert and Dummy for coding features. Last edited by TheMidnightNarwhal; 01-02-2020 at 12:52 PM.. |

INPA isn't "single click". You have to go into a couple different menus, enter the injector that you want to code in, enter the new values, and hit enter..... pretty darn easy.
