The car and Procede kept perfect.
We were able to re-achieve the 300Km/h again.
First time we achieved the 300Km/h was on the Cannonball Run in Europe.

Only problem was the increased oil temp on the track, but that will be fixed this year by a improved oil cooler.

15k miles

Tuned since 1500miles. No problems. I have hit a few limps while beta testing, but other then that the car runs like a champ. Now a stg2 car with no problems. I guess you can count a leak in my windshield washer fluid line going to my headlamps. I'll have to check that out when it gets warm.

During the 300km/h the oil was normal, maybe a bit high like 125 degrees.

On the race track after 20-25 minutes racing the temp went up to 140-160 degrees celcius.
This is a known issue, same counts for the brakes, these are really getting on while tracking.

The actions taken to improve the "heat management" was to order an extended oil cooler and EBC Yellow stuff brake pads.

I think my car has 37 or 38k miles on it. V1, V2 (limped), V3, V3.1, JBx (limped). Had a few limps w/ V2 running fully catless but nothing since other than a boost leak induced limp or 2.

major problems have been steering rack replaced and getting tboned by a Dodge Viper ACR. I somehow blame the tune for the Viper (joking).

sorry about the OT:

sniz, i think you did a thread on checking for boost leaks.
my car seems to be running fine, but my boost gauge does not register the max psi pressure i expect with my JB3.
i am at very high altitude, so this may be normal.

QUESTION:
if i even had a slight boost leak, would i get a code??

thanks

you probably would get a code with a large enough leak, but if it really really small maybe not. The most recent one I had was very small and did induce a code at high rpms.

your low boost may have more to do with your altitude.

I think, apart from the 12hr Bathhurst endurance race from a couple of years ago (that ran PROcede v1.x), this is the toughest test todate for any tune. Let alone a high powered one. Brings a happy tear to my eye. I'm sure it was stressful for the nut behind the wheel as well Good job!

Having this done under warranty right now - nothing bad happened, VIN showed I was scheduled for a replacement (while I was in getting a dinan stage 1 and 2 combo). Parts manager told me the hpfp is a $1200 part plus install.

It was an extreme experience. For both the car (tyres were completly done afterwards, they had to much heat to absorb) and the driver (After 6 days, it became mentaly very harsh, driving 200km/h + 6 days in a row.)

Car went once into limp mode, under extreme hot temperatures in the south of spain.
We could restart and error was gone.

The good thing was, we were very competitive against ferraries and porsches (They had to gas 3 times more often then we had to and also for the drivers these cars were not that comfortable, compared to the 335 sport seats with all options)

Maybe for this years CBR we can have a look to see if we can make a nice marketing thing out of it?

The warranty price on a HPFP job is only around $685, about half of what it used to be.

thanks,

btw, are you still totally catless?
i have catless dps and can be a bit loud when WOT. how much louder is being fully catless?

my guess is you took the secondary cats out and replaced them with high flow mufflers correct??
how much whp do you gain taking out the secondary carts?
lastly, how do you plan on passing inspection with both sets of cats out??

thanks
