Question Question On Downpipe & Catted Connecting Pipe

if i upgrade to ss downpipes (catless) and buy the ss catted connecting pipes, do the 02 sensors relocated to the catted pipes so i can still pass emissions?

right now im thinking it's like the m3 csl setup where they moved the cats off the headers to the pipes for better flow.

just wanted to confirm.

No, if catless DP's are used, you still need sims regardless of what happens from that point back.

I think he's asking if the O2 sensors were relocated... probably lengthened so that they can read the levels after the "connecting pipes". I'm guessing that it should work if you get the right guy to install it and if the new cats are high quality, which they should be.

In that case, yes, it should work. A quick note though, there is not much room for the sensors though if you move them back. They will have to angle the bungs.

I can confirm the relocation of the 02 Sensors in the midpipe with longer cable. I called Supersprint about the complete system and asked them this exact question.

yea guys that is what i meant to say. the 02 sensors are located on the downpipe after the cats. so if i were to redirect them to the rear on the connecting pipe (where the ss cat is located) it will get a reading from there so i shouldn't have any warnings and be able to pass emissions.

Cut the wire (four wires in total), add in a length, solder it up and put a protective sleeve on it.

Probably only need to relocate 2 of them, right? The post-cat sensors.

Yes, but there are four conductors per sensor.
