Yeah, I guess that under boost, vacuum is applied to help the mounts stiffen up..?? Seems like quite a few Asian platforms employ a similar system.

Ok guys, so If you have a DD 335I sedan, you have a ton of other mods like a tune, engine mods, XHP auto flash, and you are going to drop the subframe anyway, want to stay married, and have the car behave like a performance luxury sedan, which mounts would you add? I am willing to change the idle speed, but I live in California. We use the AC till October here, and start again in April sometimes, so I need that not to add to much or any NVH. Thanks in advance!

Turner 60A doesn't have much added NVH after they are broken in and the idle is turned up to 850. There's no change in NVH that I noticed when turning on the AC.

Get my setup.

Rogue engineering trans mounts & turner Motorsports 60a engine mounts.

I think some people are also missing a key point going with a stiffer mount other than performance.

The OEM mounts will be ok for a while. If you live in a state with crappy, pothole invested roads, you really take a huge risk, at least IMO, of the the subframe hitting the power steering pump, pulley and shredding the Serpentine belt. This results in the belt being sucked into the engine via the crank seal. This I turn can either destroy the engine entirely or force you to remove many portions of the engine both top & bottom, in order to clean out the pieces of shredded belt through out the entire engine 🤬

I put an aluminum pulley on my power steering pump.

I don't have the Ox Werkz crank seal plate. $150.00

It's not something I'm really worried about considering I have the 60a mounts and the aluminum pulley. I might still do it, but only when I get around to it 😉
