Port/Head Information

Hey so I'm trying to do the preliminary design of my staged/sequential turbo setup. I know RB has an exhaust flange and someone else was working on an intake manifold. What I'm looking for is the port sizes. I haven't torn into either motor yet so I can't just measure. I'd like to properly size the piping and first step is port sizes. I appreciate any info you can give me. I tried a quick search on the other forum but didn't see the info I was looking for.

Also if anyone does a HPFP swap I'm looking for a couple used ones. I'm willing to pay core fee and shipping.

Intake ports are approx 2 inches wide by 1 inch tall iirc. Not totally sure on radius, but I would guess 1/2 inch.

Ok sweet. That helps for the calculations. Any exhaust side info?

Maybe 1-1.5" diameter. Not very big. I'll measure my stock turbos when I get home if I remember.

Interesting that is on the small side. If it is 1.5" I should be able to get away with a 4" maniflold.

Thats because small (exhaust) valves and ports keep the velocity of the gas high, which is needed for fast turbo spool. But those dimensions are optimized for stock boost.
