Ehh no biggie always someone faster. Does anyone here have an extra jb4 cable to hook it up to a laptop? Bought one from fry's but it didn't work out COM fails all damn day hahaha. Any race gas pumps nearby too?

Looks like that video of the Gallardo was shot just south of E.G., near the mall that was never completed. I always see cops hanging out in that area, waiting to catch speeders test-driving cars from the auto mall. I think Natomas is a safer bet around the industrial areas.

I've never seen a cop in that area actually, but thanks for bringing that to our attention. No more high speed pulls over there haha.

Just received my Koni Yellows and H&R Springs today. Now, waiting on spacers which arrive tomorrow. Time to schedule an install. Next month, time for tune (Giac,JB4, Cobb or PROcede??).

Depends on the brand of tires and wheel offsets. I had to remove my 10mm rear spacers when I switched to PSS (over my old Falkens). Now I run 10mm front and 0 rear (could probably do 5mm).

H&R Race or Sport? As for a tune I am really happy with my JB4. Haven't had any problems at all.

It's crazy how many bimmers I see over in the Elk Grove area now. No where near the amount before I moved three years ago. Probably all of you guys hahha

I went with H&R Sport. Race was too much of a drop and heard was too bouncy for daily driver. Based on everything I've read, I leaning towards JB4. I think it's the best simple tune for the $$.

I've only seen 1 mod'd E90 in E.G. lately - it's all black with double rear spoiler, lowered, nice rims, dark tint. Prob a 330i based on exhaust.

depends on what kind of future mod you wanna put to your car. since we run different tunes, maybe you should try out b4 making the decision.
i believe 2 of us r running procede v5 FBO with meth, 1 with jb4 FBO with meth, 1 with GIAC S2 FBO, and 1 COBB S1 almost FBO minus the DP. all have different characters...

No hurries, it's fun to go slowly . Gives you time to appreciate the new mods.



From a guy who owned JB+ JB3 JB4 and PROcede (DSBJ is in a similar boat too)....I prefer the PROcede. JB4 is a good value but once you factor in the price for the necessary add-ons, the prices are similar. Both have pluses and minuses. PM me for details, too much to type which is already in the tuning section.

That being said, I'd you don't plan on going FBO + meth, the Cobb is a better tune for DD.

and yea, me being from JB+, JB3, JB4, and now shy of DP + meth, COBB has the smoothest and most consistent power among all. never had a hiccup or whatsoever... i love the COBB. =)
