What upgrades for 2010 328i?
Hey guys I just picked up a 2010 328i M sport and I wanted to know what are owners doing to these cars in order to get them track ready? Obvious upgrades would be wheels and tires, and shocks and springs. What else are you guys doing to them? Only thing I’ve done to the car so far is the IND painted reflectors.

^This is a must.
Consider brakes from 335, or F30 front brakes and E90 335 rear. You must code ECU for performance brakes. Any serious track time will require you to do something about oil cooling. You can go heat exchanger fluid/fluid route (easiest, relatively efficient) or oil cooler from 335 which some members did as well as me. Always go good XW40 oil. Go to would be Mobil1 0W40FS, Castrol 0W40. You can increase power by swapping intake with three stage intake. Needs coding. But first modification should be oil cooler. Also, rear wishbones from M3, bushings polyurethane street performance or race (go race). Here is my oil cooler : [IMG][/IMG] |

A helmet is required.
Track-specific brake pads and fluid are HIGHLY recommended. And obviously Make sure all your other fluids are fresh and all maintenance is up to date, check tire pressure, etc. Literally nothing else is required, regardless of what anyone else tells you. Just go have fun! and watch your temps throughout the day. Last edited by Thumbie; 09-01-2021 at 01:04 PM.. Reason: I love your car. If it is stick, I've been hunting high and low for one of those. |
