Hey everyone, I ordered some interior accent lighting strips from Bimland performance. They are essentially fiberoptic strips (from my understanding) that match the OEM amber color of our interior lights, and will mimic the lighting found on the e92 and e93 cars. Bimland suggests connecting them to the window switch wires that light up the window switches when the headlights are on. I'm away at college and do not have my volt meter etc., so if anyone knew which specific wires I should tap into I would greatly appreciate it!

I can help you with that! I just installed mine, check out my pics. I think I will remove the doors again. Did you get package 1 or 2?

Awesome! I got a package of 4 strands for all 4 doors. I assume the passenger doors should be somewhat simple, but the driver door has so many buttons I'm assuming there are more wires to choose from?

There are maximum of 10 wires. 10/10 brown one is the grown, im taking the door off on Monday . Im pretty sure bimland is making a installation guide too.

Yea i just installed the center leds, makes a huge difference esp driving at night. Still deciding if i should take electricity from the fuse box or not. Because atm i conmected it to the center buttons (harzard, door lock, DSC)

Would love to see some pictures ! As for where to tap from I can't help you unfortunately and will probably need your help in case I decide to install it
