BMW AUC warranty transferable?

Hi guys had my E92 lci 320D M sport for 9 months now, it's now time for a change (not doing the mileage I originally thought due work) I was wondering if anyone knew offhand if the approved used car warranty is transferable to new owner as this May help the sale hopefully. Any costs involved etc anyone done it?
Thanks guys

Yes it is transferrable, I purchased a 535d off a guy about 5 years ago who had only owned it for 3 months, there should be a postcard that you insert the name/address of the new owner to transfer it with a BMW address on it, i can't remember if that card was in the back of the AUC book or just seperate in the BMW pack I got.

If it is a yearly purchased policy then yes it is transferable.

If it is a monthly plan then what they actually do is cancel the current plan and apply a new one in the new owners name.

But in essence yes it is a transferable benefit.

Thats awesome, i was under the impression it can only be transferred if its a yearly policy.

I have the monthly one, even after doing about 20k miles (over 2 years) the premium has not changed.

Yup agreed. However there is a reason they do it this way now. When the new policy activates it will be under the current pricing for that vehicle and mileage. So for example if you are over the 60k mark then even though your monthly premium is the under 60k amount the new owner will end up on the higher monthly amount.

will have a look at the pack that came with the car. I bought the car from Bmw main dealer so was hoping the warranty could be passed to new owner only three months left but should help sell the car and it has been great and even got a new clutch and flywheel done under warranty as it was juddering

As its an AUC warranty that came with purchase then yes it is for a full year from purchase so is transferable.
