bimmertech amp , adding another amp question

Currently I have the bimmertech amp which replaced the factory.

I'm going to add an amplifier to power a trunk subwoofer. My current amp has rca outputs to connect to the new amp.

Being set up this way, do I need a device such as trunk Loc to turn on/off the amp? Or will it turn off when there is no signal being fed to it.

thanks for your help!

Remote out lead is on the Bimmertech amp. Use that to turn on your second amp.
