Love this spec! (Stick, Deep Sea Blue, Dakota Brown Leather) - Non-sport, but still solid

My old blue wagon is for sale again, Carfax shows that it got repo'd.

https://www.atlasmotorsnc.com/2011-B...3/Details.aspx

I wonder how rough a shape it's in now, I was owner 3 and gave it some love with new control arms, brakes all around and transmission fluid at ~100k miles. Now it's got 144...

Had some fun adventures with that car and I always thought that blue was good looking too.

Might be safe to say that the last 44k miles were "maintenance free" if you know what I mean lol

What do you guys think it's worth?

Has a lot of miles of course. Maybe my perception is skewed after paying 11k for it with 130k+ miles 3 years ago.
For the ending price I'd fly out to IL and pick it up myself. If I were you, I'd put it up for auction again, eBay is notorious with deadbeats and sometimes it takes three to four tries to actually successfully sell the car.

I posted this in the general forum, but thought I'd post on here too. I know this isn't an e91 for sale, but I'm desperate to save my e91!

I'm hoping you can help me out. I had an accident in my 2011 328xi 6MT wagon, alpine white on saddle brown with only 67,000 miles. What I thought was just a minor fender bender turned out to be a possible "total loss" due to a bent frame rail. The estimate for repair is just over $10,000 since it is very labor intensive to remove the engine in order to replace the rail and the cross member.
I am trying to work with the insurance company to prove to them that the car is worth more than they're valuing it, and that it should be repaired rather than totaled. I provided them some examples of other e91 6MTs that are for sale, and that have sold recently, but they're telling me that I need to provide:
1. the same year, make, and model with mileage within 50,000 miles of my current mileage.
2. A valid VIN
3. The seller's phone number
4. A working website link to the car.
5. It must be within 150 mile radius of my current zip of 17603 (Lancaster, PA)
6. I can provide up to 5 comparable vehicles.

I provided links to a bunch of Bring A Trailer auctions that ended recently, but they said that most of them did not meet their requirements.
They are making it near impossible to prove the worth of the car, so I'm hoping some of my fellow Bimmer Post members can help me out.

Wow, I feel really bad that this is happening to you. It honestly is a shame that we pay for insurance, then when it comes time to use it...the insurance companies decide not to do what's best for the customer.

I personally do not have an E91 6MT. However, if I find any listings/sales matching your requirements, I will pass them along.

Thanks so much! It is very frustrating. With the rarity of this vehicle, what are the odds that I'll find any within a 150 mile radius of me?!

I have a 11 328it manual in Harrisburg. Under 40k miles but I bought it a little over two years ago.

By an interesting coincidence, here is a very good looking 2014 328 X drive, 6MT, 40K miles in Seattle. Asking 23K, which feels about 3K too high, even for a manual.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...013783563.html

IMHO, the distance from your location should not be a factor. This is not like real estate, probably just another way to jerk you around.

That happened to my wagon. Insurance totaled, I bought it back and got an alignment and a new fender. Been happily driving it since.

Despite what is stated in the ad, this is not an MT. The F31 wasn't available with MT in the USA.

Problem is that I don't own it outright, or I'd be happy to buy it back. I don't think that my credit union will allow me to do that.
Additionally, if it's deemed totaled, the state of PA requires that it be fully repaired and receive an "enhanced" inspected in order to receive an R-title to allow it to be legally driven.

Awful.

I am working on securing agreed upon value insurance again to avoid this exact situation, if it ever happens. I tried two years ago and was unsuccessful with Hagerty stating the vehicle was too new. Hopefully with BMW discontinuing sales of wagons all together stateside and the continued high prices for wagons relative to their sedan counterparts will allow me to get it insured.

Has anyone been successful in obtaining an agreed on value policy? If so, please share!

Ah. Good points.
Massachusetts also has those requirements, but because the vehicle was valued less than some amount ($10K? $7? i'm not sure) the insurance company is not compelled to report to the state to become a salvage title vehicle.

Worked out for me, but it also made me question what "clear title" really means.

I might be selling my 3rd e91 soon. I already have two.

Would anyone here be interested? I'm in Southern California.

2006 325xi 6 speed manual. Sparkling graphite on Tan. 199k on the clock. It does need some work however, but the engine and transmission runs strong and there are no errors, lights, or codes.

Edit: It has the AVIN 10.25 navigation touchscreen on the dash with apple carplay, bluetooth and rearview camera. It also has factory xenons, homelink/autodim, brand new bilstein shocks/struts and new H&R sport springs, cross drilled and slotted rotors and recently replaced waterpump and thermostat.
