Will a type 162 wheel work on my 330i?

I currently have 17" wheels and like the look of the 162's much better than my current wheels. Do 162's come in 17"?

Thanks!

OEM versions don't come in 17", but you may be able to find some replicas out there that do. I know that there is a 19" replica of the 162s. Check eBay.

But yes, the OEM 18" type 162 wheels will work on your 330.

Those will fit too, in fact all the e9x OEM wheel, 17" to 19", will fit your car.

on the noob note, make sure your offsets on your new wheels are for pre-LCI, as these changed between older E9Xs and the newer ones.

E90 LCI wheels has afaik the same offset as e90 pre-LCI wheels.

The only difference is that LCI 16x7 wheels (268 and 282) are ET31 and not ET34, and that the 18x8.5 rears for style 286 and 287 are ET39 compared to normally ET37.

Eh. showing my own ignorance. Which LCIs are different then if any, or is it an E92 vs an E90 offset difference?

Well, the rear track width of the e90 lci is 8mm wider on each side vs. the e90 pre-lci, but the wheel offset itself are basicly the same.

So is an "aggressive" offset on a pre vs post LCI the same for an E90?

No, it will be even more aggressive on a LCI, by 8mm.

What a waste, just get the 18's and get new tires, even if they are cheap 500 dollar tires.
