Hey we're pretty close, I'm +35 and +38, except my spacer is at 12mm . I did a quick look for tires in that size and I already have more selection. So even if it doesn't help preventing cracks it's still a bonus. |

People avoid runflats because they're uncomfortable but the sidewalls aren't stiff enough to crack a wheel.

No, run flats are known to be the cause of many wheels cracking. That's because of the same reason that they are uncomfortable, the stiff sidewalls transfer impacts to the wheel and cause stress cracks. It sounds like you're referring to a different scenario, which is when the sidewall completely compresses and whatever object you've run over makes contact with the wheel causing it to bend, or crack. That's not what were talking about here.

Anyone knows if 12mm spacer is going to rub with the setup mentioned up top?
I'm selling a 10mm spacer it would suck if it turns out my 12mm is just to much. |

That makes the rear et26. I would think youll rub even with a roll. But I don't have experience there. Most aggressive ive been is et33 with 275's and rolled. And I have a pre LCI which has a narrower track which allows more aggressive offsets compared to LCI models. Now my brother has a 2012 e92 XI with 19x9.5 et35 and 275 no rubbing at all even with a loaded car. But he's on stock xi suspension which is pretty tall.
