yeah, but it was a nice volvo 2.8l twin turbo inline 6 engine with 282bhp and 400nM of torque.

added to this was a boatload of nice options (for a Y reg car) including lovely electric memory heated seats, satnav, cruise, sensors, auto dimming mirror, folding wing mirrors, builtin in phone, tv, dvd player and fridge.

at the time, I was spending a lot of time on the motorway and it was a very nice place to be for the journey. fast too, though it consumed fuel like a sonnofabitch and cornered like a barge oh, and it depreciated like a rock..

still, I don't regret it. it showed me what options are worth looking for on a car and what's not worth going out of my way for. and indeed, I feel my current car to be a fusion of the best bits of my previous cars.

it's for the nice memory heated leather seats, nav, cruise and sensors from the volvo, the acceleration of the merc and the great handling and some of the parsimony from the e46 compact.

the way I look at it, all my cars are an evolution to getting my perfect car I'm getting closer, and so far the e90 is the best car I've owned...

Think I did take the p*ss didn't I Chris when you told me?

I'll own upto owning Vovlos! S40 2.0T which did more mpg than the Focus 2.0 ESP it replaced, one S60 auto 2.0T and a S60 T5 auto, new on a 55 plate. Bit thirsty that one but the S60's are excellent comfortable motorway cruisers and have to say............some of the best seats in the business. Not a BMW though tbh and a tad different to the Cayman.

Forgot about my cat as well! no children though, not my thing, I bought one a while ago from the national childrens home and give him £25 a month via direct debit and he sends me a pre printed Christmas card once a year and the odd letter. Personally I think he owe's me at least a bit of lawn mowing or putting the bin out. his name is John by the way and he claims to be 11 in case you know him.

No carlos it's a joke. I am not really a parenting type, too selfish, but I do my bit for charity. I was spoilt as a child, and feel sorry for kids in this day and age who are not as fortunate as you or I. I saw one Monday with last years trainers on and to make matters worse he only had an ipod nano (old shape) he then got into his mother's 52 plate Ford galaxy in solid blue.
