I love BMW but so far i cannot say much about the product except the EMISSIONS system. Hopefully in the next few months DPF SCR EGR will be reomved FUALK emissions they should of left it alone like in Europe damn CARB/EPA/CAFE regs..
I understand, but now we have to wait for a solution and then dish out a bunch of money ourselves (not to mention do something illegal) just to make the car run like it should have from the start.

I'm glad I found this blog as now I know I'm not the only one with this problem even though my dealer says I am.

I've been without my 335d for 4 months. BMW simply doesn't care. Neither does my dealer.

Famous dealer quotes "I've never seen this before"
"we'll have this fixed up real quick"

What has bmw done for you? Sold you a car and took your money. That's about as good as any business.

i like the car when I drive it, but it dropped 10k in the last year of my ownership. Given the problems at hand it is going to be like the 745 they built a while ago in early 2000s, these suckers will not have a price floor. I never lost this much money on any car prior to this.

That is why I keep saying a class action lawsuit is imminent...just a matter of time...if you guys don't think this effects you because you haven't had CBU issues think again...go look at KBB and auto trader to see what your car is worth...like the guy said above, it might have depreciated by close to 10K in 1 year!...pathetic...I too have never experienced anything like that before ever....and up until earlier this week I had two 335D's.

BMW needs to step up and up the warranty on our cars to 6/100K...and they need to figure out a fix...otherwise our cars will have horrendous resale values.

well a little update on my case, yes, without my car for little over 2 months, from what I know they did carbon cleanup, replaced few sensors and now I believe they will also replace the computer, delivery for spare parts is the major delay and that is where BMW have to step in and do it fast but have to give thumbs up to my dealer, they do go out of the way to make sure I am somehow happy, just run over some metal shit on the highway last night, had to be towed 90 km back to the city, two tires lost and today got the phone call from the dealer that they will cover the full cost to replace the tires on the loaner. I sure do appreciate that, saves me $600

So far (knocking on wood) my 335d has been far more reliable than my 135i was.

What problems did your 135i have? Same issues that a 335i would normally have I'm assuming?
