E91(LCI) M sport (partial leather) seats to E90(PRE-LCI)

Hello,

so is it possible to fit LCI M sport seats to PRE-LCI E90, without any issues?
I've searched through forums but it's so confusing and I can't determine whether it fits or not..

Any help is appreciated!

Physically fits. If options are different you just have to code it. The rails are identical, you will have no problem bolting them in. The more similar they are in options the better. The LCI has an active sensor in the headrest.

So since I assume pre-lci doesn't have that sensor, what can be done in regards of that?

Nothing, there is an extra connector in the large yellow seat plug. Pull it out and tie it away from the big plug and connect it. Should be just fine.

Like to leave it not connected?
I mean that wouldn't make any error or anything?

No because your original seat never came with it. That headrest connector is independent and just housed inside that big plug.

I mean the seats are LCI and LCI has the active headrest.
My car is PRE-LCI which doesn't have that, even if LCI seats would have 2 connectors and I leave one hanging, wouldn't it still detect as an error?
