"Offset Steering angle" didn`t move, but after i changed cody by tool32, it setted in "zero 0" pozition. I think all errors appeared about same time, I I changed wheels, because winter come. Possibly I should just do wheel alignment... Will see.

I have an szl module for sale if anyone wants it. Pulled from a 2011 e90 at 50k miles. Clockspring attached. Let me know, just have it sitting around, if it can help someone would be great.

Is it with cruise control arm? Because my szl module is without. By the way, in our country it costs about 33 000 rubles - 700 $.

Don't mean to thread jack, but, what were the physical symptoms were you guys having? I know the dash light warns/tells you, but feel wise, any different?
TIA

Nothing driving, just he dash lights. Mine would come on then go away after a cycle of the ignition, then after about a year or so and a couple of alignments, it came on and stayed on. I then used tool32 to reset the dsc module and then lights are gone. Inpa also shows dsc sensors to be within spec.

Hi there! It happened again, when I drived in a long flat road. By the way, It always happen when I drive outside town, - in highway. I've watched after "Offset Steering angle" when I drive in town - it just haven`t time to achieve a red area, cos trip so short. I think, I need to do right wheel alignment possibly, and then calibration sensor again.

Sterring wheel sensor is fine, cos "sterring angle (grad)" - moveable. I sure, that it case with wheel alignment. Even Google show it, if you type "offset steering angle", and look at pictures.

My car is a 2007 e93 335i RHD.
I tried to calibrate mine using ISTA+ which returned couple of errors as attached. Also attaching Steering Angle Sensor reading in INPA. Any advices? Should I go ahead and order the repair kit: 83192179894 Or do I need a complete SZL unit replacement? Steering wheel buttons work fine along with the horn. |
