Am335: I think they are both 8 inches, technically you can't call a subwoofer a subwoofer unless it's at least 8 inches, hence why Bose can't call the Acoustimass module a Sub, cause the speaker inside is 6 inches.

Anyone know if I can switch my stock to logic 7 amp? I saw a recovered logic 7 amp on ebay and was wondering if it is doeable.

You'll need to run fibers to the amp location and update your vehicle order to enable the optical outputs on your headunit. You'll also need to replace the dash and fish some extra wires if you want the OE center channel.

In short: yes, but it's probably harder than you're thinking.

These guys are supposed to be shipping a "drop-in" speaker upgrade for e90/91/92 very very soon (inside the next 1-3 months I've been told)
