Question about ISTA Wiring Diagrams Discrepancies
I'm preparing to retrofit heated seats into my car, and ISTA has been a great resource for working out the wiring. However, there are discrepancies between the ISTA diagrams and real life that I do not have an explanation for, which I hoped one of you could enlighten me about.
The best example of a discrepancy that I have found is for the wiring of X275 & X279 connectors found on the diagram for the Multiple Restraint System control unit (Diagram SSP-BTS-SP0000024785). On the diagram, it states that PIN 18 on X275 is yellow, and that PIN 18 on X279 is blue, but in reality it is the other way around (Yellow on X279, and Blue on X275) - and I confirmed this on 2 different cars with an untouched original harness! My car is a 2008 Pre-LCI and EU spec 325i E92, these diagrams display after I input my VIN into ISTA, so I presume they would be accurate to my car? Thank you in advance. Diagram: Reality: |
