Hmm there is normally a difference of between 10-15mm but it is normally the off side which is lower. Since you have recently had a change of springs and shocks, I'd check that the rear springs are both seated correctly as it is possible for them not to be in the rubber groves upper and lower properly.

Can't think of anything else that will affect the ride height at the rear. Unless they sent you two different springs but even then I would be shocked if that was the case

Not really tbh. When I put the new engine in I used brand new vac hosing all over which was a braided type from eBay, not exactly cheap but rated to high enough temperature. 7 months down the line and it has split twice, once on my DV and now on the rear turbo so I've decided to take the front end apart to fit my m3 rack and subframe (aluminium). The 335i is now weekend duty only so should hopefully be together for longer once I've put it right. Also found a loose o2 sensor causing my running issues!

Latest issues and expense!

Tensioner pulley let go taking out the alternator and air con compressor. Car was off the road for 2 weeks but all sorted now.

Alternator is a complete ballache of a job, we literally had to crowbar it back into place there is that little room in these engine bays!

Anyway its regassed and blowing colder than a cheap hooker on a winters night.
Still got bloody wheel wobble and still trying to chase that down, next step is to get prop shaft balanced and install new bearings.
If that dont fix it I give up.

It's seems like your 335i has been playing up ever since you owned it....I'm amazed you have the patience to stick with it for so long.

Touch wood after going through a spell of lots thing breaking, mine seems to be behaving it self. No break downs or reliability issues for the last 4 months /2000 miles

Tensioner pulley is a common problem on 335i..

I bought all the belts and tensioners to replace mine but then sold the car before getting round to it. I reckon above 80k it's good idea to replace them. If anyone one wants mine, give me a shout..

Hello DB , it's running like a dream as long as that dream involves vibration at 70+
To be fair , everything else is spot on. Just the annoying vibration still to sort.

You still got the Merc ?

Yep XFR is treating me well..

V8 is a little too muted so I'll be fitting a cat back switchable exhaust next year.. Evolve are doing some great work with the sc jag f-type - 610hp from tune and intake only!! I'd love to see one with FBO and meth!!

It does like a drink though..

Yep, still got the AMG. 1year and 9900 miles in and all's well.

Quaife LSD a worthy purchase (only £800), thus the ruined tyres!

This month £485 tax, £550 New rear tyres, £350 first service gulp.

Best thing I bought is one of those naff Sprint booster things, the adjustable-on-the-fly ones, sorted the horrible slow long throw throttle pedal, much easier to get it spinning and then modulate with small pedal movements. Makes it "feel" much more lively, all in the mind of course.

Tried a fancy £1000 piggy back tune, (free trial) , but it was too much, made the transmission thump and the clutch slip in manual mode, so I took it off. Another E63 there dyno'd 705bhp with it on.

Missing the manual. I prefer driving my Bipper van this time of year.....

VRSF downpipes....

On their website it states O2 fix option, Would I need it if running the JB4 G5 ?
