Starting to like the e92 in red after seeing this and a few others, can honestly say i have yet to see one in person.
Looks smart dude

I had a heavily modified mk4 golf gti aswel that was running just shy of 280bhp, slammed on the deck on 18" porsche rims, all smoothed etc.
Is that a lupo gti poking its xenon in that picture there aswel

Thanks mate, your Golf sounds great, have you got any pics? I guess you may have been on the Uk-Mkivs forum?

Nah that's no Lupo, it's still the Golf, I don't like tiny cars lol

Here are a couple of iPhone pics when I was out and about the other night (excuse the quality, I was rushing):

Ok! So! WÖRTHERSEE!

A stunning location in Austria with incredible scenery including lakes and mountains...and some seriously fun roads winding around the mountains.

So 8 of us travelled in 3 cars: My E92, a modified VW Bora and a stock Audi A4. 40 hours total drive time and just under 2000 miles. Left London late on Sunday night and arrived in Wörthersee late on Monday night. We were TRASHED after taking the Eurotunnel train across the channel to France, then drive all the way through to Germany, and then all the way through in to Austria.

Didn't get as many opportunities for photos as we hoped due to the spontaneous weather (we got caught in a heavy rainstorm whilst washing the cars on the first morning...but we kept going in the rain lol) but I did manage to snap a fair few shots on my iPhone and have edited a few so here they are:

At the Porsche Museum:

Now let's get scenic:

Daaamn it's been a long time since I did any mods on the car, about 9 months in fact - which is the longest period that I've ever not-modified any of my cars!

I decided to wait out the winter and then step things up to the next level with a really special new look for 2015.

Here's the latest pic of the car to show it looking good in static form:

(pics are low quality as they were Instagram uploads)

Sooooo yesterday I made a pretty exciting purchase:

I've been wanting to have a car on a top-level Air kit like this for about 4 years now (so back when I had the Golf) but my student budget never permitted it back then.

Unfortunately the Golf never saw Air (I broke it for parts last month ) but the E92 sure will - very soon in fact. I'll hopefully get this fitted up within the next 2 weeks - can't wait

We had the pleasure of having Az's car on site a few weeks ago one thing that stood out for me was seeing a red car so so rare these days and it struck me as very clean. Oh and as you know Az my interest in your wheels.

this air ride stuff is getting a bit infectious

Haha yeah man, I was actually going to get this kit back in December but ran into some complications with the house renovation that we have just finished and had to spend the Air money on that instead

But at least it's here now and I'm really happy to see Sam and Shaun get their cars on Air as well because we've been providing each other with advice and ideas throughout the purchases and installations. It's been a nice little project that all 3 of us have faced almost together lol.

Seb you should get it as well man, might as well really

Thanks again for taking care of the Transmission Fluid service that day Steve, I'm always so paranoid about giving my car to others to work on as I'm nearly-always disappointed in the lack of care for my car or the quality of the work itself. However I'm glad that I took my car to yourselves at A1 because you did a pretty complicated job to a great standard of quality and looked after my car very respectfully in the process. Time was minimised also, so the job cost as little as possible

LOL @ my car being considered clean, the poor thing was covered in much from a week of driving in the rain - but thanks for the comment as I guess you mean the general state of the car!

Yeah the wheels are pretty nice, I still like them a lot and will run them for a couple of months longer (most likely) before I change to a new wider setup. They should look good when tucked into the arches at minimum height

This is the nicest e92 that I've ever seen! And that's a big claim as there are some stunning cars on this forum! Red+M-Sport+LCI= WIN!
