They aren't new "star specs". They are the new Dunlops. RS3 takes more heat to work with, ZII screams a lot earlier than the RS3 under cornering. RS3 would get you wheel spin when it's cold.

I was under the impression that these were the successor to the star specs
But I know they are not called the star specs which is why I put that in ( )

I hate screaming tires but I hate wheel spin even more, might give the ZII's a shot

DS and M mode there is a faster shift maybe?

So far it's worth it to have it done. Big to Kalim. 1st time talking to him and he made me feel like we have known each other your years. This man is a motorhead and loves all things cars.

The ZII's aren't listed as this test was from a few months back. I personally run the MPSS's but I am looking to swap to full on Extreme Summers (AD08/RS3/StarSpecsII's).

Wet grip is absolutely mind blowing, as even when its soaking out. I don't break traction in 2nd running Cobb Stg2. But I realized, that since we live in the Sunny Cali Bay Area, it rains only every so often and my car never sees anywhere else. I want the utmost dry grip possible, so Extreme Summers here I come!

That is if I dont sell my car by then, I am looking to move to a good cheaper DD'er for when I transfer down to a socal school next year.

Thinking of 2000-2005 Bimmers, such as 330Ci's or even possibly a 540i. Something in the 8-10k range.

Pick up a cable off ebay and spend a few hours in your car with the laptop. I admit the learning curve is a bit steep with regards to the setup, but once you are setup it is very easy to code whatever you'd like.

Here's a list of coding options that are available.

You can look into Nitto's as well. Ex. NT05R or NT555

Do you want to buy my miata? You can sell your hard top. Switch all your mods parts into it.

Could I do this with a Mac or is the software only available for Windows? I wouldn't mind learning how to do it myself so I can save me some greenbacks.

We'll we just picked up a 2013 Alpine White F30 335i Sport Line. I must say the interior is really nice compared to the older E90's.
