Socket - heard conflicting things about its sound. Hopefully it's a nice bump even without the catless dp.

EB - yes they are, but they look good so you win some you lose some (in this case I lost $ lol)

Trev - everyone has their tastes, I wouldn't ever consider stock M4 tips. I love the detail in the Remus tips. And I like the subtlety of an aftermarket tip. Easy to miss but looks great if you're an enthusiast.
You can but the axle back and put M4 tips on your car

CYL - I'm not sure what to tell you. Read a bit down the page under step 1 or something. $1378 axle back. Then you choose which tips you'd like

Yeah that's the problem. I wanted cheaper ones, but couldn't help my self. And like the adjustment options they provide for aligning the tips correctly.

But very happy now that I have them in my possession. Can't wait till tomorrow for them to be installed

So Jason's quad carbon rear diffuser was too narrow to get the tips in properly so they are a little lower than optimal. A bit was shaved on the inside (not visible) which helped a lot. From the pics it's probably 80% fitment. Any one know of a wider quad rear diffuser that will definitely fit the Remus quads. Each tip is 84mm.

Even if I had no diffuser on, there's no more vertical play in the muffler. The tips will only go up on an angle if that makes sense. The guy said they go on an angle but it didn't click. Anyway pick the car up in a few hours. See how we go

I like it, the tips suit the SMB colour.

If you are looking for more room try Duke Dynamic- I understand they have a perfect fit for Remus.

I have the quad cf Duke Dynamic set up with Bastuck exhaust and love it. Only thing is neither part is cheap these days.

From the exhausts I've heard Bastuck is the only one that doesn't rasp and sounds exotic- youtube some clips.

They look to be sitting too low and pointing up, not ideal.

Happy with the fit. The point up is in the Remus design. That's how they're meant to be - directly from Remus.

As for the width, would only affect point up, wouldn't allot tip to sit horizontally in a higher position so not going to worry about it.

And the sound, love it :-)

Also my vrsf catless downpipe came today. Going high flow cat in the mid - hope it's not too much louder after.

But most importantly, looks like my vacuum leak is fixed (need to log to confirm but a 3rd gear pull from 2500-6300 didn't set it off half cel like it usually would) which means mhd to come!!

Bad news, need to replace my transmission gasket and another one in the engine somewhere. I forget. $$$$$$

Which diffuser do you have? Duke has two versions, a 55CM spacing and a 58.

I have the remus exhaust installed, but trying to find a diffuser that will fit. The inside of my ehaust tips are exactly 60.5CM apart.

I bought the modbargins quad diffuser and it didn't line up properly with the tips. The outlets were two wide, at about 62CM, so the battery box was showing behind the diffuser.

I have a 2011 335i with Msport bumper.

I bought it from euro division in Melbourne. Jason is great - but confirm the diffuser is the zieg one (or zeig I forget), I got another one off him (long story) and it was RUBBISH. But this ones fantastic. Fit is spot on
