Golf Tee Mod question
Anyone who has done the golf tee mod to their stock IS exhaust please comment. I took the vacuum line off the exhaust and plugged up the hole with two ball bearings and slipped the line back on. Just today on a VERY cold start my flapper was closed for about the first 10 seconds after I started the car then it opened up. I was under the impression that plugging up the line would keep the flapper open 24/7. Am I mistaken?

Back in the day on my old 335 I used to just unplug the solenoid in the trunk. The JB4 has the built-in option to leave the flapper open. |

I thought my balls was plenty big. So the flapper should be open all the time then correct? |

I golf tee modded all 3 of my 335s including my IS, the flap stayed open 24/7 for me. All I did was kink the vacuum hose and zip tie it to keep it kinked.

Summer time... (well almost)
Finally swapped over to my 19's.. (225M) and gave her a little spring clean.
Should be going for my first little road trip early April. |

It is finally raining and the salt is FINALLY starting to rinse away. This has been the longest, most painful winter ever. Here's hoping in 3 weeks she comes out of storage as intended.

Glad you will be getting her out soon. I know it is tough but exciting at the same time as it is like getting a new car every year. You did an incredible job putting it away for the winter as well.

I got the trunk lip from a member JBspeed. He has a couple different ones but M3 lip finishes of the rear nicely in my opinion. |
