I didn't think the ZSP springs will bring it down that much. For some reason my car sits a little bit lower than standard now (no fweight jokes please ) I can't explain it. But aesthetically, it'd be fine.

I have the splitters on its way.

My next mod will have to be the strut brace. This is quite urgent actually.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34.
Well, now there are two clipper systems, so snow all day Saturday and into Sunday monring.

I'll have yet another update tonight after the HH....

Oh, and to get back off topic, the mods I have planned:
- Blacklines
- Rear Spoiler
- either 189 or 230 wheels...
- strut brace
- CF or blacked out grille? (still thinking on this)
- WARM WEATHER!

Thanks for the weather update

On the mods, blacklines rocks! I'd do more research on the strut brace, iirc ADHD installed the brace on his 335i and it started rattling crazy so he took it off. Check out the black chrome grilles on ebay. Otherwise, I'd order the gloss black plastic grilles (not painted so not chips) from trendix I think. If you're doing the black out grille I'd replace the lower finishing rods and window trim to maintain continuity. I'd stick with the 162s or upgrade to 230s.

By the way, Im going to have to bow out this time around. I just got a phone call and my grandmother was given less than a week . Im packing up now and heading up to Pittsburgh.

For the drive: Someone else can head this up. What I would suggest is someone with Nav to take the lead. If you still decide the same starting location, make sure to program in the following destinations prior to leaving: Middleburg, Round Hill, Breaux Vineyards, Ashburn.

Start in Ashburn, then change locations once you get to each town. It might be a little boring until you get between Middleburg and Round Hill. There are about 10-15 miles of fantastic roads that get you where you need to be. You will not be dissapointed in the route...

Donny: I will be back later Sunday. I can come drop the wheels off at your place Sunday night if that works for you...

I apologize for backing out, but family comes first...

AJ - sorry to hear it. Be happy you get to spend some time with your Grandmother and your family before she passes. Not everyone gets that chance.

AJ sorry to hear about that...

Don't worry about the wheels, that's minor. I can get those wheels off you anytime you're ready, its not important.

Have a safe trip up to pittsburgh.

AJ,

If you have the chance, could you post up directions/coordinates etc just in case. We rather choose to wait for you of course. Its your event and it won't be right to hold it without you under this circumstances.

One of my worries - and why I will keep a certain amount of leave on the books; I know I don't have much time left with mine. Take care and be safe on those nasty roads.

I have NAV and am familiar with the Aldie, Middleburg, and Round Hill areas, though I have never been to the vineyard...I am really on the fence about the drive, being that I'm on 189's and HP run-flats -- NO WINTER SETUP..! AND the fact that it is going to snow again SAT/SUN.

I can set up a route and post it tomorrow for you all, and then if the weather holds off, I will definitely make it...the starting point is close to my house (I live in ashburn) and see no obstacles except for weather...also dying to meet you guys...damned snow..! I actually have not even started the big guy in over a week...and the icy driveway isn't looking to great to me...

Let me know if you want the route map planned out...and if you are all still going...

My $.02 cents would be to postpone until everyone can deal with family matters and we can get some decent weather.

BTW -- my prayers go out to you as well...family passings are never an easy time, but be thankful for the times you have had...that in itself is a blessing.

LATER ALL! -- SCOTT
