Arrow FS: SOLD: Brand new M3 Tri-stitched steering wheel (w/ DCT cut-outs)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD!!!

Hi,

For sale is a new M3 steering wheel with the cut-outs for the M3 DCT paddle shifters. This is an authentic OEM steering wheel.

I'm selling this because I didn't do my job researching too well. Apparently, the standard paddle shifters I have won't fit in here and I'm not paying $500 (Tischer) for the DCT shifters so.... this has to go.

Never installed and never used. No imperfection on the nappa leather or tri-stitch. Feel free to ask if you want more pictures.

Asking for SOLD PayPal gift payment OR SOLD + you pay fees. Free domestic shipping. You are buying the steering wheel only. No airbag, trim, paddle shifters, retention bracket, multifunction buttons, etc.. What you see in the pic is what's being sold. Nothing more, nothing less.

EDIT: I cleaned off the permanent marker writing on the metal part, not sure why that was there. Might be an inventory thing

Please make sure this is compatible with your car before purchasing (ie., you will have to use the M3 DCT -/+ shifters).

Price lowered by $50 more! Original post updated. That's $116 + shipping cheaper than getbmwparts ( http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462 )!

Pretty easy. Airbag pops out with two pokes, steering wheel trim pops out with 3 Torx 20 screw removals behind each spoke, and so on. Only *big* tool you'll need would be an air compressor + impact wrench to remove the main bolt in the center (unless you're super strong)... or do what I did to install my M-Sport wheel... pay the dealer $150 (1 hr labor) to do it...

No it doesn't. Thats why he is selling. I would love to pick this up and modify the opening to fit the stock paddles.

Yes. You will still need DCT paddles to fit in the holes, though. Or you could just go commando and have a gaping hole which you can't really tell unless you feel for it.
