So yesterday I heard an unusual noise coming from my car's engine bay.

This only comes after car is fully warmed up. The video starts with that loud ticking noise, then it disappears, engine surges a bit and comes to normal, then it runs normal for 10secs and the loud ticking noise comes again. No codes, scanned with INPA. Car runs/drives normally.

Could this be a bad injector? Its a E92 N55 2010 93k miles.

I think most of us have noticed that sound at some point with our car and with what I can hear from my shitty sound card, it seems normal to me. It is a weird noise that seems to be normal with N55s.

I would like for others to pitch in what they think because I might be absolutely wrong and have an actual issue like you!

I've had similar sound on my 08/11 535, noise was just the loud ass injectors 1200psi! Perhaps they were cold/bad batch of gas/not lubed by the gas? Try running a fuel cleaner in such as techron/sea foam in the gas tank. I always run 93 shell vpower. Mine went away they were so loud I could hear the ticking from the back of my car sounded like rod knock but went away after car warmed up.
