All seasons are basically no-season as they are only ok all year round. Go to www.tirerack.com and watch video of all season vs winters on snow. They don't compare to summer tires in the summer and aren't close to winter tires in the winter. Not really sure why anyone buys them. Cost isnt really a factor as you are just buying your next set of tires now as each will now lat twice as long.

same on my DW. Summer tires really don't like cold roads.

Does it matter to you at all actually? I don't go around and critize what you do to your car, so mind your own business and lets leave it at that and keep the thread on topic.

all seasons aren't that great once it hit a certain temp, I would get some snow tires.

Cmon guys chill. Besides, I actually DO have 3M on my windshield. It's called Clearplex.

...plus I wrapped my entire car in 3M. Never have to worry about a Pacific Mall parking lot again. Well ok, it only does so much but whenever anyone hits it now I can just buff it out and use a heatgun to heal it back again lol.

Reason you should get winter tires is because rubber gets stiff once it gets cold. There's a temperature range and winter tires are made of tackier rubber (so when it's hot, it wears a lot faster but when it's cold it's the right viscosity to grip the road).

Summer tires when they get cold turn hard like plastic so it can't grip the road or snow/ice.

Youre right. My DWs don't grip at all right now. Time to swap.

I can understand clearplex but I really don't understand 3m . To me its like wrapping your couch/lampshades in plastic. Everytime you wax your car youre really just waxing the plastic aren't you? Your car won't be worth any more when you go to sell it.

Don't worry about him just look at all his posts, he clearly has some sort of superiority complex. I'm not too sure what he's trying to over-compensate for, but it's time to get off that high horse.

You can't be serious? I think most people have the 3M on their bumpers at least. You should take a look at my accident photos where I was hit from behind by an SUV and car that both collided going 100 kmph where I was not moving in traffic. Not a scratch on the rear bumper after we took off the Ventureshield protection.

To each his own...I just don't get it....most people do though. Do you ever take it off or leave it on for ever so the next owner gets a flawless car? So after a 100 km/hr collision there is not a scratch on your bumper?

thanks! the skirts fitment was almost perfect. just gotta do some minor adjustments.. wondering maybe if your shop can do them? (2 of the pop in clips on the back of the skirt on driver side wont pop in for some reason)

need to raise up the car a bit though still, was too cold on the weekend to do it, and i felt lazy lol
