In addition to the 3/16-17 NJMP event, I signed up for 3/30 Limerock event with NASA too in case you guys want to join. Hoping to run different cars on each of these...

Is it crazy that I already have camber plates, wheels and brakes for a car that I don't have yet
Will do. We bought a Z4M this week too out of the DC area. It's smashed up pretty hard, but it has suspension work and Stoptech brakes on it. We may end up getting a new tub for it and just transfer all the good parts over.

Also, lodging at LRP is difficult. I stayed at a nice B&B not too far from the track.

Sweet! Please post pics, I love race car builds.

If you don't need a back seat, wouldn't be surprised if you jumped to my world... Z4 M or a Vette. If not, either a 1-er or E36 M. P-car? Can't believe it...

Is anyone attending the 3 day Summit Point, Del Val CCA event? April 20-22.

Edit: I'm registered for all three days.

Btw, I'm bowing out of Schattenbaum 3/16-17. I know the price is awesome but after having been to NJMP this past weekend, I realized I want to try out some other tracks. I'll be going to LRP on 3/30 instead with NASA. Unfortunately the cost of 1 day at LRP = 2 days at NJMP, regardless of the club.

I'm attending both of these.

Seems like we have similar issues, I eventually really want to do Daytona. However, Daytona charges the clubs way too much $$$. The price of a 2 day event at sebring with Hotel, is the same as 1 day event at Daytona, no hotel and excluding travel.

LOL, wedding is my first priority. Whatever pennies are left after that is what determines my track time. Unfortunately pennies won't cover LRP and NJMP =)

I've done most tracks in the east coast, as far south as VIR and north as Watkins. LRP is just the one track I've never been to but I heard great things about it. Plus NJMP is so popular among the clubs here there's always a weekend event going on there. But finding a Saturday at LRP is pretty tough so I'll take what I can get =)

But you are right, the 1 day vs 2 day event is a huge difference in cost when you factor in gas, food and hotel.

We are still debating here. May only do Watkins with del Val. I'll be driving with pca rtr primarily.

Still not as silly as what you're bringing to the track. Your fat a$$ in that car reminds me of

I'll catch you guys later in the season, I've just done too many at NJMP lately...

First time I ever spun. 45 degrees and rain, my first time running the chicane. As I was exiting the chicane and coming back onto the straight, I gave it too much throttle (car wasn't fully straight yet). Back end spun out, I tried to correct but my front end had absolutely no grip. Did a full 360 on track and 180 on the grass. Luckily no contact with guard rail or others.

Was mentally tired just trying to focus on keeping the car on track. All my senses were working overtime just trying to maintain smoothness... it was educational to say the very least. One guy I sorta know crashed his Evo.

LRP and pennies don't mix my friend.

You have a funny way of saving money by booking track days on the most expensive track in the NorthEast

Eh, it's on my bucket list... This year I'm going to focus on the tracks I've done less, which includes the Glen and maybe make another trip down to VIR. Any takers???

Plus seeing how WH will be putting even SLOWER lap times (if that's even possible), I won't have anybody to talk smack to. Although hanging out with you guys is half the fun. I'll see you at the next one, no worries =)

I'm down for a trip to VIR later in the year, it's on my list (never been there). I visit the Glen & LRP at least once a year, so there'll be a Glen trip later on too.

I'd also be willing to visit Summit Point in the "off-deer" season, whenever that is.
