I've always been a fan of the e38 style 37 wheels. So I Picked up some m parallel wheels today, IL put them on when I have a day off. Should look good! Have new rear tires, and I have new smaller tires for the front.

Test fitted the parallels today, extremely aggressive fit, fenders need rolling and possibly a small pull. Getting it done this week.

Considering a meth kit with e85 to maximize stock turbos.

Got the fenders rolled today, unfortunately it hits my rear bumper were it meets the quarter panel. So the 275 tires are a no go. Looks like I'm going to have to downsize to at least a 255

plenty of grip to be had in 255s. these cars are really hard to make room for wide wheels. fenders don't budge much. my 285s rubbed when I had people in the car.

Just a heads up you can fit 265 NT05s on the stock rims you had. No rubbing, lots of traction.

Yea I'm sure I could fit a meaty tire on the stock wheels but the 275scame with the wheels so thought I'd make use of them since there brand new, and the offset on the stock wheels is pretty weak, I love the way the new wheels fit, very aggressive. But looks like I might buy some michilen super sports in 255s this week and have the wheels /sensors swapped over.

Did a little driving today, normal diving no problem. When u i to make boost. After about 2500 rpm it stutters and chokes. So therea definitely something going on, hoping the new ignition helps

Ordered my rear tires so I can get the m parallels on properly, 255 40 18 michilen super sports, we test fit a 255 tire and look decent. Fits better than the 275 which would rub instantly. Hopefully they come in by Monday and IL have them on

OK guys got the wheels and tires put on today, looks great love it! No rubbing with the 255s. I filled up today, knocked it down from 75/25 e85 to plain 50/50 and the car is doing better now. I can actually make boost, I didn't go WOT but I did give it 50% throttle and made some boost. Would to much e85 cause an issue like I have been getting?

Honestly I'm not a fan of overly low cars. If it's scrapes it's not functional and not my thing. Car as it sits is almost perfect minus the front. If I don't angle out of my driveway my lip will scrape so I'm not looking to make that more difficult. And I can go over any speed bumps with no issues. Id like to possibly lower the front just a little, so maby IL look into a lowering spring for front only, but I really don't want to start scraping

Good news. Figured out and fixed my miss firing issue

It was the Injectors all along, brand new index 12 injectors have been installed and car drives absolutely excellent!

Next steps are to install inlets and downpipes, aswell as a xhp trans flash. Then I can call the car done. Hopefully soon following a track day.

Update

Thanks to the team at SSR performance the cars officially now full bolt on!

Had VRSF stock location inelts installed along with some UR catted down pipes

Have a local strip event coming up soon. Goimg to attend it and post some times!

Looking into the xhp trans flash, if it's that beneficial or not. I dont fully understand its capabilities 100%

I did try practicing launching the car, never done it with bolt ons and e85. With tranction control completely off and a 2k launch from DS mode, car was spining and sliding side to side, so i need to figure out how to put the power down. Pilot super sports arent as sticky as i thought lol

Got back from the track. It appears im terrible at launching lol. The only way to go was launching from second and using the paddles. Was shifting at 5.5k rpm. Car felt a bit sluggish that normal due to the heat, was on map 5. Car trapping 115-117. Running about 75% e85 and 25% 91

Heres my best time. Its was stupid hot and humid outside. My AITs were at 140+, literly every car was running slow. 5.0s on slicks running mid 12s. Fastest time was a hell cat at 11.9.

Will be back at it when the cold weather comes in. And gona figure out how to launch the car effectively
