Bought a set of rims for my wife's 323.
Couldn't find a better deal locally.
But they are Plati-dip with a Spary on type from a spray can.

It's a very good job, but wife doesn't like them on her blue car.

Any Advice on how to remove it.
Rims are in very good condition with with lots of tread on tires.

any parts that are stubborn, use goo-gone. It melts it away. i would wash them afterwards.

Yep. It peels off in one big sheet if you're slow enough about it. Just find an edge. If you can't find one (back edge of a spoke?) just make a small cut in an out-of-the-way spot with a boxcutter and lift up one side.

Any overspray where it's not in one full sheet, goo gone. Though that should only be inside the wheel where you don't care anyway.

Spray with goo gone, let soak in then blast with power washer! Dont bother trying to peel it. Once its been on for awhile its a bitch to get off.

To get mine of I used a very high pressured power washer. Came right off

I think with Go Gone and my Honda 3000 psi pressure is what I will do.

Try peeling it first, it's a lot less messy that way. If it doesn't peel, it's not plastidip.

?? Have any of you ever REMOVED PLASTIDIP? You peel it off, in one piece. No heat gun needed. Careless heat gun's a great way to remove paint though.

Avoid getting goo gone on the tires.

I decided to look for and edge, and peel it.
No heating, no sun light heat.
Nothing.

Just find an edge, and peel away.
Easy as mud.
Don't put any treatment on it.
Just peel it.
