Auto leveling headlights pointing down after strut replacement...?

So I swapped out my OEM shocks/struts with the KONI FSD Shock Kit. Now my headlights startup at the normal "level" angle but while going through the intialization sequence, they go down the ~15 or so degrees but only come up ~5. So my headlights effectively point about 30 feet in front of the car.

I checked the click on the suspension that I had to remove and everything appeared to be right.

While doing the front, I had the car on an incline (front up) and had to turn on the ignition to rotate the wheels which also kick on the lights. Not sure if this is what cause the problem...

Any thoughts?

EDIT: Added a pic from the car on the ground. Can anyone else take a picture and to comepare? All you have to do is point your camera forward just on the inside of the drivers side tire.

EDIT 2: I swapped over and problem is fixed. Thanks everyone. Attached is a pic of how it should be...

That looks wrong, the servo arm should be 90 deg clockwise from where you are showing it. The connecting arm that connects the servo arm to the control arm should almost point straight up, something isn't correct. Also it may be worth checking out the rear sensor setup, there are two light level sensors on our cars; front and back.

I can't believe this but I appear to have gotten mine reassembled the same way as the OP. I also notice my headlights are aimed too far down. I guess the fix is to get back under the car and undo that damn clip and try it again. The bavauto guy Otto makes that clip look like child's play but I swear that was the hardest part in the whole shock installation!

It took me 10 minutes to get the car jacked but only two to unclip and reclip. Make sure you have enough light and you're looking at it from the front of the car toward the rear. This way you can clearly see the locking action. I used my fingers to get it mostly there and a pair of needle node pliers to lock it in.

So...did you have to reorient the arm correctly, or do something else? The theory behind it will obviously help someone else with the same problem in the future.

Yes, just had to unclip, move the arm into place, and reclip. Now the headlights work properly.
