FK Silverline (non 'X') vs KW V1's
Need some advice:
I can get a set of FK Silverlines shipped to my door, no extra fees for $1100USD. I'm in Canada BTW. or KW V1's. I have a quote of $1190USD, but I will need to pay taxes and duties. Anybody have any clue what taxes and duties will run? I'm going to guess and say I'm looking at a total of around $1500USD. So, really my question is, are the FK Silverines (not the silverline x's) as good as the V1's for less money? Any FK Silverline owners out there to comment on the ride quality? I've heard V1's ride pretty smooth. Close to stock. I'm looking for a nice balance of comfort/performance. Car will probably never go to the track. Thanks! |

KW V1 will allow you to adjust height and has pre-set damping. I can't speak for the FKs but I've had nothing but positive reviews for the KW coilovers. Also, KWs come with a lifetime warranty when purchased from an authorized dealer such as ourselves

anyone else have any comments towards the ride comfort of the silverlines? I noticed they are non-adjustable so if they were uncomfortable I would just have to deal with it.

Does FK still have a Sales and Service dept in Canada?
Wonder what their warranty would be? I would check out Redline Motorsports(SP??) they have a KW V1 sale on now... I believe that HPA (Vancouver based) is still the NA distributor for KW, so warranty issues would be less |
