Define don't want the car sitting too low. I think most springs will lower the car ~1.5 inches. If you want less than that or want to be able to control the drop, you'll have to go with a height adjustable coilover. I was considering a Cup Kit (Spring/Shock set) but decided it's better to go with a coilover since I only want my car lowered 1 inch.

The heights listed above are with SPORT package equipped cars only.. if you have base suspension it lowers the car a bit more. the eibach prokit is great. subtle drop, great ride, and good quality. i think its the perfect drop.

You should go as flush as possible...it just looks so much better. If you have the money...get Coilovers....if not, make sure you get shocks along with your springs. I am a recent subject to all this and did a lot of research on here. I ended up going with H&R sport/Koni FSD shocks. The H&R's will lower it perfect and I THINK the ride is the same if not better than stock. Most say you should not do the matchup I did...but I'm happy with it..

If you're looking for H&R Sport springs and want to accompany them with a set of shocks, it may be worthwhile to look at H&R cupkits. They use the same springs and package them with shocks. There are a few floating around in the FS threads. They're new, but never installed.
I have them installed on my ride currently and love the ride height and the stability it offers. Can't wait to get a set of wheels to fill in the fender void |
