You pay the bail amount and they refund it when you win. I believe that you can do it for any moving violation, and if you lose you can ask for a second TBWD.

When i did it i had to pay the bail amount to get a court date and it takes like 8 weeks to get the money back. As long as you get as many extensions as you can the cop won't show.
