what's the tyre spec?? i bought some 19x11 and i was just gonna move my 255/30 tyres that are on my 19x9.5s on to them temporarily... i'm thinking the max meat i can put on is around 275/30 with a slight fender pull? more a fan of meat than stretch lol...

I have a question. I have 17x8 offset is 35 wheels. In the back I wanted to ad BMS 15mm spacers. However I am getting ready to grab new wheels. The ones I want are CSL reps and are 18x8 front and 18x9 rear.

IF I grab the 18x9 rears with an offset of 30, does that equate to the same thing as the 17x8 offset 35 with a 15mm spacer?

I figure if the rim is 1 inch wider in the rear 18x9 VS 17x8, that would mean its .5 of an inch wider on each side, meaning its already 10mm closer to the outer fender. If I get an offset of 30 vs 35 thats another 5mm correct?

So I could essentially say. 18x9 rear offset 30, and 18x8 front with offset 20 or 25?

This will go along with my 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 setup.

1 inch is roughly 2.5cm, so 12mm not 10mm....

18x9 et30 = 17x8 et18 or (et35 +17mm spacer)

but this is just the rim respective of how it lines up with the fender... tyres will bulge, stretch etc depending on size and brand!

but yeah 18x8 et25 (et20 may rub on full lock) with 225/40 and 18x9 et30 with a 255 sounds like a good fit... you shouldn't have trouble with that...

How do you keep those from rubbing? I'd love to run a 300+ out back on my e92.

So essentially a 18x9 with 35 offset would be like running a 17x8 with 35 offset and a 12mm spacer?

18x8 with 20 offset would be like 17x8 with 35 offset and a 15mm spacer right?

Would that work?

225/40/18 - 18x8 with 20 offset front

255/35/18 - 18x9 with 30 offset rear?

Or would it be better to go with 35 for the rear and 25 for the front?

Right now someone recommended 15mm spacers around and Jason from burger said 12mm all around.

20 offset front and 30 rear would be 15mm front and 17mm rear.

yes this is true, but remember this is respective from fender to rim

i'm so sorry, i only just saw this, i didn't get a notification!

i'm sure the rear will work... i'm not 100% sure of the front... i would say get a 12mm front and 15mm rear... and if you think you can go wider on either, sell the spacers and buy some bigger ones it's hard to get these things right the first time!

Its ok bro, lol forums dont usually work for me either lol.

I ended up going with 19x8.5 front offset 35 and 19x9.5 front offset 35. 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear.

I hope it fits, I get them installed tomorrow.
