M3 Wheels on Stock E91 Tire Help?

I just purchased a 2009 328i RWD E91 LCI wagon for my son’s first car. I have an E90M3 that I no longer use the stock 8.5 front and 9.5 rear wheels from and would like to use them on the E91. The stock E91 tires are 205/55/16. Using a tire calculator it looks like 245/35/18s on the front and 265/35/18s on the rears would be optimal for diameter. I searched for threads, but didn’t find much. Is this a common upgrade? Potentially planning on lowering with a Bilstein b12 kit later. Will this tire fitment be the best? Any issues with rubbing front or rear? I assume I will need to roll rear fenders at minimum. TIA

The offset is aggressive on an M3 and will likely poke and run badly on an E91. I would compare the offsets of the on each, odds are they will not work no matter what tires you run.

ET+29 on the 8.5 front and ET+23 on the 9.5 rear. Stock is 16x7 ET+31 square all around. I know they fit as my neighbor had them on his E91 LCI Xdrive, but they did rub in rear w/ 245/40/18 and 265/40/18 tires on. I just want to know what would be optimal tire size (probably 35 aspect ratio) and if anyone has run them lowered.

I have 219m's on my e92 with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. I have no rubbing issues in the front but I do rub slightly with large dips in the rear. I've got PSS tires on as well which some people say run wider. Stock height and fenders are somewhat rolled as well.

That being said I don't have much insight for an e91 but that is what is working on my e92. I have heard a lot about 265 rubbing a lot across e9x with these wheels. Tires don't look insanely stretched either with 225 and 255.

I ended up buying 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 as they were within 1/6% and immediately have DSC issues. Do I really need to switch to a 225/40/18 front to make it go away?

Stock sizes would be 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.

On this side of the pond you'd need to reset the TPMS (it's calculated on wheel speed differential), but I guess it's different for you. Even so, I bet a simple reset of adaptations in the DSC is all that's missing.

I have 235/40/18 and 245/40/18 on my car - zero related issues.
